Chasm

They only existed for a few short years. Chasm was an old school hardcore band from California. Their explosive sound sent shockwaves through the scene and though their existance was brief, they still left a mark. By combining melodic, ressonant harmonies with destructive hardcore guitars, drums and rythm they made a sound that was all their own. The harsh vocals of Ron Bull drove them over the edge, making them one of the most talented, detructive, yet, original hardcore bands of all time. Chasm never claimed any Christian or secular label, everyone knew what they stood for, and they respected it. This page is far from complete but if you really must leave with some sounds by Chasm here are parts from two of their songs. Both are off the CD "Gye Nyame" available from Boot to Head Records, along with their EP 7 inch "Squander, Squander the Bright New Dawn".
